The Premio Bonporti 2023 this year is for baroque violin soloists.
The competition is dedicated to Italian violin music of the period 1600c.-1750c., focusing in particular on the enhancement of the creative aspects of historical music.
- extemporaneous ornamentation;
- performance in a historical acoustic environment (the salons of 18th century palazzos)
Admission of a maximum of 4 soloists (selection through audio-video material).
The Premio Bonporti 2023 will take place in Rovereto (Italy) from 27 to 30 October 2023.
The President of the jury is the well-known Japanese musician Ryo Terakado.
